Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2, 2026. This policy explains what Calcuris (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit calcuris.com, and — importantly — what we do not collect: the numbers you type into our calculators.
Who we are
Calcuris is an independent publisher of interactive calculators, run by the Calcuris Data & Research Team. You can reach us at [email protected]. See also our About page.
What we collect
We use standard web analytics — currently Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 — to understand anonymized, aggregate usage of the site: which pages are viewed, general traffic sources, and general interaction events with our calculators (for example, that a calculator was used, not the values entered into it). This data is not used to identify you personally.
Calculator inputs stay in your browser
Every Calcuris calculator runs entirely client-side, in your browser. When you enter a figure — a salary, a loan amount, a weight, a date — that number is used to compute a result on your device only. It is never sent to, stored on, or processed by our servers. If you close the tab, the input is gone. This is a deliberate design choice, not just a policy statement.
Cookies
We use cookies for analytics purposes as described above. In the future, if we display advertising, some cookies may also be set for advertising purposes (see below). Where required by law, we will show a consent banner before any non-essential cookie is set, allowing you to accept or decline.
Advertising
Calcuris does not currently run third-party display advertising. We intend to, in order to keep the site free, and may work with advertising partners such as Journey by Mediavine in the future. Advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads. Where the law requires it (for example under GDPR or CCPA), a consent management platform will be shown so you can control ad-related cookies before they are set. Advertising never affects the figures a calculator produces.
Embeds
Some Calcuris calculators can be embedded on third-party websites. Embedded calculators load their code and assets directly from calcuris.com, and the same client-side privacy behavior applies: the values a visitor enters into an embedded calculator stay in their browser and are not sent to us.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA or similar laws — including the right to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing of your personal data, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data. Because we collect very little personal data, most requests can be resolved quickly. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected].
Children
Calcuris is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves — for example when we add advertising or new analytics tools. We will update the “Last updated” date above when we do.
